Augustana missionary publicity is grouped chronologically under the heading of the mission executive at the time, O.J. Johnson and S. Hjalmar Swanson. One folder, entitled "Stories about the Lutheran Augustana Synod, which can be used as illustrations in public speeches, 1923" is not particularly related to foreign missions, but seems to be a personal project of executive director S.
